Mepal Sports FC was formed in 2000, and has grown to a current membership of 80
junior players, plus a senior team.
We are an
FA
Charter Standard club. This means that the club has been recognised as adhering to
best practice for coaching, administration, and child protection.
A new purpose
built pavilion was
opened in 2007, and this represents a huge leap forward from our former
'shed', and we are grateful to all those who helped make it possible. There are excellent
changing rooms for home and away teams, toilet facilities, including those for wheelchair users.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen, and a small seating area with tables and chairs.
The pavilion is operated on behalf of Mepal Parish Council
by the Mepal Sports Action Group (MeSsAge) registered charity, and is available for hire for functions. See the

Junior players are aged from four to eleven. There is also a girls under eleven team. The
Under 8's to Under 10's play in the
Cambridgeshire Mini-League. The Senior team plays in the
Kershaw BIS League. More information is available on the respective team pages.
